Monica is a Chartered Accountant and Registered Auditor with post-qualifying experience in a top tier international firm with the attendant high levels of technical training, and latterly as partner in this local practice where handholding and advising can be paramount. As a general practitioner she has developed her role in tax as well as accounting matters, both at a personal and business level.
In addition to her general practice role Monica has considerable audit and financial management expertise, dealing with small and medium sized businesses, working with them to improve their internal and external reporting of accounting information and help plan their business accounting affairs.
Richard Harvey
Taxation and Business Advice
Richard is a Chartered Accountant and Registered Auditor; and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, the Institute of Indirect Taxation and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He is a member of the South Coast VAT Practitioners Group and the Regional Technical Advisory Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Whilst now practising as a general practitioner, Richard has specialised in taxation work for most of his career, including time as a tax partner or consultant with larger and smaller firms.
Margaret Jones
Margaret Jones joined us in 2008 from KPMG, where she was a senior manager, to manage our accounts and audit department. She is a Chartered Accountant and has a thorough knowledge of international financial reporting standards and up to date auditing skills
Patricia Berry
Patricia Berry is a Chartered Accountant. After qualifying Patricia gained experience in general practice in a major regional firm. She developed her expertise further while running her own business as a sole practitioner and in partnership. She continues to provide invaluable advice (on a part time basis) to a range of smaller businesses, helping to guide them through their accounting and tax obligations.
Gwyn Davies
Gwyn Davies is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. She joined us in October 2001 from a local practice where she had built significantly on her initial experience. She works alongside Richard Harvey as a specialist in personal tax affairs.
Trevor Lansbury
Trevor Lansbury qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2003 and has assisted the partners with clients, covering both audit and accounts, for the practice since joining the firm in July 2004.
